How do I delete my index?

You can delete your Pinecone indexes in one of two ways: through the console or the API.

Console

1. Open the console and navigate to your project via the menu list under PROJECT on the left side of the screen.
2. On the Indexes screen, you'll have a list of your active indexes.
3. Click the trashcan icon for the index you want to delete. You'll be prompted to enter the index name as a safeguard.

API
