How do I downgrade?

To downgrade your Pinecone account back to our Starter (free) tier, you can do so in the console. You'll first need to delete any active, non-free indexes. 

1. Click Settings in the lower-left corner of the console.
2. Next, go to the Projects tab.
3. Click the name of each of your projects in turn.
4. On each Project's Indexes page, click the trashcan icon for each index. You'll be prompted to enter the name of the index as a safeguard.

Once you've done that, you can return to the Settings->Projects tab and delete the project. After deleting all of your active non-free projects, go to Settings->Billing and change your plan to Starter. Your billing will end as of that moment; you may receive a final bill for the indexes that you just deleted for the time they were in use.
